MISSION & PURPOSE
According to the title, "viral" refers to something that is popular, therefore the goal here isn't to find the finest vocalist, per se, but rather a personality with a good voice, style, stage presence, and the capacity to engage with a wide audience. So sure, it is a popularity show designed for entertainment but carefully planned to showcase the best talents to this virtual world.
The Viral Voice provides established and emerging enterprises with the option to become sponsors and exhibit their brand in front of a genuine interested audience who watches the show in-person and online. Maribol Inshan a distinguished judge of The Viral Voice 5 and also the winner of The Viral Voice Season 1. She isn't just known for her singing; she's celebrated for her breathtaking Live music performances with her band/dance team, "The Cool Cats," she orchestrates fully choreographed and theatrical shows that captivate audiences across the platform. As a Season Winner , Maribol emphasizes the importance of self-belief, urging contestants to embrace the challenge with love and luck. As she aptly puts it, "Never limit your belief in yourself—If you believe in yourself, you can accomplish almost anything!
Guitarhero Dougall has been playing music for 52 years as he started on Accordion at the age of 5. Now he plays 27 different instruments and has been performing live shows since 1984. Dougall went to school to pursue a Bachelor’s of Science in Audio Production degree and has graduated with honors. He has also obtained his Masters Degree of Arts in Public Relations with honors and is currently working on various music projects as well as continuing his live performances in Second Life live music scene.
Music has been an essential part of LB Celt's life since a very young age. He began by learning to play the trumpet in his high school jazz band and French horn in the symphonic bands. During College, LB fronted a rock band that won the Battle of the Bands in his local city. Later in life, He Joined Second Life when he discovered that he could stream his music there. Now and for over 17 years, LB has been playing his melodies, supporting other performers. He loves beating on his guitars and rock!
Lisa Brune arrived in Second Life out of curiosity and since 2009 she listens and discovers artists who are making the treasures of the live performances in SL. Lisa started to sing in world in 2011. She was invited in venues from different communities (french, italian, norwegian, german, american). She sings mainly covers but Lisa keeps writing personal tunes as she did with "Dry tears", "Mon intru", "Silence"... The selection of songs is guided by crushes and meanings of lyrics. It is difficult to give a precise style with Lisa. The only common thread is the pleasure of the musical vibrations that she attempts to share with a voice full of emotion.
Mr. Wobbit AKA Wolem Wobbit is a Music producer and arranger, composer, singer/songwriter with 14 years of experience in virtual worlds and online platforms. His musical experience in the real world is much longer since he started in the seventies. He is basically making music all his life. His first instrument was a melodica. It was quite a challenge, since He was left handed and those instruments were strictly designed for right handers. His next step was learning the guitar and playing in a local band called Rhombus. That ended when he started to focus on family and career until 2010, when he played to friends in our yacht club in Second life via voice chat. Later, He started to learn all about streaming and made music in SL since then. Lately Wobbit Improved his song writing that he started in his young age but forgot over the years. Currently he is not only writing his songs, but also producing them fully arranged along with his backingtracks for his performances in SL.
With roots in France and now settled in Canada for six years, Mimi Carpenter discovered her musical talent while embracing the virtual stage. She can perform in English, French, and German and beyond which is reflecting her passion for connecting through music. Mimi performed live at TwitchCon in Paris in 2023, showcasing her talent to a live audience also known as MialyMusic. From SL to platforms like Twitch, Mimi shares her love for music, uniting audiences with her soulful vocals, emotive storytelling, and skilled guitar playing.
Draxtor Despres is Peabody Award winning documentarian of Second Life since 2007. He has 1000+ mini documentaries in 17 years. He is also and totally obsessed with the possibilities of open virtual worlds and Machinima. Maker of Drax Files World , Flufee on a Meshion and The Drax Files Radio Hour. And, of course OUR DIGITAL SELVES and that COVID movie with SL and ACNH!
